The Coolidge School Library Pageant in Lansing, Illinois, was my first spoken word gig. I was in fourth grade. Since then, I've earned a B.A. in Speech & Theatre Education (Purdue) an M.A. in Oral Interpretation of Literature (Northwestern). I taught high school in Illinois, spent a few years in PR, worked 10 years for Lexis/Nexis, married Rick Beyer with whom I raised two great and talented kids, had my dream job at WUMB-FM in Boston, do VO announcements for WGBH-FM, spent 10 years as PR director at Perkins School for the Blind and now teach writing at Lasell College in Newton, Mass. I'm often seen at poetry nights and story slams in the Boston area.
Since 1991, I've done video acting and voice overs. Find me on Voice123.com.Come find me and we'll see what our voices have in common.
